We’re working with the GEM programme to find a graduate to join our Development and Asset Management team.
Our new Trainee Project Officer will work with the team to both manage and create new homes, and study for Chartered Institute of Housing level 4 Certificate in Housing.
Kemba joined us a GEM trainee in 2019. She says…
“I joined South Yorkshire Housing Association as a GEM straight after graduating from The University of Sheffield. I knew I wanted to work for a housing association, but I was pretty overwhelmed by the variety of jobs available. This role stood out as I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn more about the sector and work for a local housing association. Being part of the GEM Programme was so valuable, it has given me a wealth of insight into the sector and I got to meet lots of other people also at the beginning of their careers in housing.
