Housing First
The Housing First model is proven to end homelessness, and works on the belief that housing is a basic human right. Housing First offers people who are experiencing homelessness, and that have multiple and complex needs, a home for life. Their home creates a stable foundation for recovery, and to settle and meet their goals.
Housing First Rotherham is a pilot partnership between South Yorkshire Housing Association and Target Housing. We also work with Chesterfield Borough Council and Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council on Housing First services in Chesterfield and Doncaster.

In our supported accommodation, we’ll work with you to develop the skills you need to live independently, to look after your health and wellbeing, and to prepare for moving and settling into your own home.
We also offer services for people who are at risk of becoming homeless. We can work with you, in your own home, to develop the skills you need to confidently manage your tenancy.
