Places for People partnership
Partnership and communication timeline
- March 2025: We announced that we’d started partnership talks with Places for People on our website.
- July 2025: We sent a letter to customers to invite them to take part in a consultation about the partnership. We also answered some Frequently Asked Questions.
- 10 September 2025: Customer consultation closes.
- Autumn 2025: SYHA and PfP Boards make a decision on whether to approve SYHA joining Places for People as a subsidiary. We can confirm both boards have approved the decision.
- 1 December 2025: SYHA joins Places for People as a subsidiary.
- December 2025: We will write to all our customers with confirmation that we have joined PfP and more information about the partnership.
